Join the dynamic duo, Teagan Schweitzer & Susanna Satten, L.Ac. for an afternoon of yoga and acupuncture that will leave you feeling centered, relaxed, and calm at a time of year when you may need it most. In this workshop we will combine the benefits of both yoga and acupuncture to nourish your health and well-being. Everyone has heard that yoga helps us connect to ourselves and others physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. With the addition of acupuncture, all of the progress and grounding that you achieve through your practice will have a deeper and longer lasting effect. You will experience a more intense and deeper savasana (final rest) along with a greater ability to assimilate the practice and recover after class. You will emerge from this 2 hour mini-retreat feeling more relaxed and well-rested than perhaps any other yoga class you’ve ever taken.
During the workshop Teagan will lead everyone through a well-rounded accessible and fun yoga practice. Then, during your restorative savasana, Susanna will provide you with a centering, grounding, stress-relieving acupuncture treatment designed to relax and restore your body and mind. While you rest comfortably, Teagan will lead you through a tranquil yoga nidra (yogic sleep) meditation.
Teagan (PhD, E-RYT 500) has been teaching yoga in Philadelphia for over a decade and is known throughout the city for her accessible, approachable yoga classes.
Susanna is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Licensed Acupuncturist and she loves using acupuncture and other forms of Chinese medicine to help her patients feel their best.
