Cancellation Policy

All appointments rescheduled or cancelled within 48 hours of the treatment time will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the full cost of the appointment, so please plan accordingly. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment for any reason, please give at least 48 hours notice via text, email, or voicemail to avoid being charged in full for your scheduled session. No-shows will automatically be charged for the full amount of the service to the card on file.

Lateness Policy

Text 215-469-1750 if you are going to be late and Susanna will try to accommodate you. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment you will need to reschedule and you will be charged for the missed appointment. It is possible that some late arrivals can be treated in an abridged session, but this will be decided at Susanna’s discretion based on how late you arrive and your particular case.

Forms of Payment

Payment in-full is required at the time of service. A credit card number to book, but you can pay by any method at the time of your appointment. Susanna accepts payment via cash, check, credit + debit cards, as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) / Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee.

Insurance + FSA/HSA

You are responsible for payment of your treatment in-full at the time of service via cash/credit/check. Please ask if you’d like Susanna to provide you with a coded invoice ("superbill") for you to send to your insurance company for potential reimbursement of the acupuncture treatment fee as an out-of-network benefit. Acupuncture is considered a covered expense for flexible healthcare spending accounts including FSAs and HSAs. Susanna is not in-network with any insurance company.
